In one of Americas oldest cities, Newark, NJ Rebeca Jampol organizes and selectively curates an artists space called Solo(s) Project House. Her recent exhibit, of a Portuguese artist collective called Der Fehler, a well known German expression for The Mistake; You Write it in Your Hands, will come down Sunday July 1, this show opened May 25th.
After graduating from Frankunstakademie, Dusseldorf Germany in 2001(The Dresden Art Academy) The duo known as Der Fehler begun their collective. The conceptual response to society and environment is a sort of deconstructionist or nonstructural response to contemporary life it would seem. Included are large scale installations and printed canvases and pamphlets. All denoting a kind of chaotic realism.
